Kathmandu, Nov. 21:

Universal Access for Children Affected by AIDS in Nepal (UCAAN) held an awareness programme while marking the 46th Universal Children Day.

UCAAN in a press statement stated that the event was aimed at informing the public about children affected by AIDS in non-stigmatizing environment. The statement further urged for the protection of affected children. UCAAN demanded enhanced social and legal protection, justice and alternative cares for addressing the discrimination, abuse, and exploitation of those affected children.
