During the winter, skin will be exposed to damaging conditions. Its because of :-
  • Extreme cold climate
  • Harsh biting winds
  • Drying effect of low temperature (dehydrate environment)
  • Maximum expose to the sun
  • Using of unsuitable cleansers
  • Not proper & regular care (laziness)
  • Central heating & air conditioning
  • Less movement

Those are the cause which makes the skin tends to feel dry and uncomfortable:-
  • One size too small
  • It can feel tight crackness
  • Itchiness
  • Flakiness with little patches of dandruff
  • Tendency to premature ageing signs like :- fine lines, wrinkles, spots, dehydrate etc.

It is because too little moisture in the upper levels of the skin. In the winter to combat dryness caused by winds, sun, cold etc. which remove or draw moisture from the skin surface. So the skin needs gentle approach, concentrating on boosting the skins moisture level. It requires soothing care to plump out fire line & make it soft & supple.

Winter skin Care Tips:-
  • Milk or creamy cleansers are best not only for removing make-up but for regular cleansing as well.
  • Alcohol free toners should be used to remove excess cleanser & restore a smooth tone to the skin.
  • Skin demands moisturizers all the time in the winter so prefer to use a light weight, deep penetrating moisturizer cream or lotion as suit your skin type.
  • In winter the sun’s ray are intensified by reflection from the snow, so skin needs extra protection in the form of a sunscreen. Use a high protection factor sun block (30) will help to protect the skin from the sun’s drying rays during day time.
  • Nourish your skin with skin food cream if your skin is very dry and ageing.
  • Splash face with luke warm water, which helps to boost circulation which means a brighter complexion & feel freshness.
  • Gentle cream based exfoliates should be used once a week if flaking appears or remove dead skin.
  • Hydrating masks should be applied once a week.
  • Regular professional facial treatment helps to maintain your skin quality.
  • Avoid to exposing to the sun, harsh gritting   winds, central heating & air conditioning etc.
  • Regular exercise also helps to maintain the skin by glandular activities (activate sebaceous gland).
  • Drinking plenty of water & taking fruits, vegetable & dairy products in diet.
